Donald Charles Johnson, 69, formerly of Avondale, passed away on April 25, 2005 at the Winchester Medical Center in Virginia. He was born on April 23, 1936 in Coatesville to Lavinia Jane Johnson Williams of Clayton, New Jersey.
Donald was raised and educated in the Kennett Square Area Schools. He was a long distance truck driver for Transportation Freight Services for many years.
Donald enjoyed everything about cars, especially working on them. He loved watching football, with his favorite team being the Washington Redskins.
He is survived by his former wife, Emma Bernice Scott Johnson and their two daughters, Teresa M. Johnson of Kennett Square and Robin E. Johnson of Philadelphia; stepson, James Edward Scott of Newark, DE; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter Rosalie Johnson.
